Current institutional rules
Requirements, prerequisites, corequisites, credit rules, and known course availability are evaluated using the institution's current configured inputs.
Difficulty-aware degree planning
Plan every semester with difficulty scoring relative to your previous semesters, and prepare for the workload ahead with Seyir.
How it works
Tell Mesura the pace, workload, graduation target, and other priorities that matter to the student.
Mesura sequences every remaining semester around completed courses, requirements, prerequisites, credit targets, and known course availability.
The proposed path is checked against the institution's modeled academic rules before Mesura presents it as a completed plan.
Students and advisors can review the resulting plan together before registration.
Difficulty intelligence
Mesura scores each course's difficulty from 1 to 10, then calculates the total semester difficulty on a 1 to 100 scale. Students can request a lighter term, balance demanding courses across semesters, or compare a proposed semester with their recent workload.
21% lighter than the recent average
Verification
Mesura validates the full degree path against the institution's configured academic rules before showing it to students.
Requirements, prerequisites, corequisites, credit rules, and known course availability are evaluated using the institution's current configured inputs.
Every remaining requirement must be represented, and every planned semester must form part of a complete path to graduation.
A partial or unverified sequence is not presented as a valid, completed degree plan.
For institutions
Mesura gives academic teams, students, and advisors a shared plan while preserving the distinct role each person plays.
Define program requirements, prerequisite relationships, credit constraints, and the other institutional rules that govern valid plans.
Describe the desired pace, workload, graduation target, and personal constraints in plain language.
Review the complete path with the student, identify important tradeoffs, and provide guidance before registration.
Prototype and pilot stage
Begin with one major, one school or college, or an institution-wide planning environment. Seyir will work with your academic and technology teams to define the appropriate pilot scope.
